Who doesn’t love a great pair of jeans? I mean there are so many fabulous styles and colors. Jeans are or should be a staple in everyone’s wardrobe. My biggest problem with jeans was always finding a pair that fit. Every time I tried on a pair of jeans they were either too tight (not in the skinny jean appropriate way) or way too loose in the waist. I would spend hours on end trying on jeans until I found the perfect pair….what a pain! I was chatting one day with a close friend of mine who gave me some really great tips on how to shop for jeans that I would love to share for you jean enthusiasts. Since using these tips I never have to guess again and look great in my jeans, what a relief!
Tip 1: Wear boot cut or straight leg jeans. Any other type of jeans will give you an unbalanced silhouette and make your hips and bottom look larger.
Tip 2: Choose simple, least embellished styles unless you are younger in age. Jeans with lots of glitz save for the youth!!!
Tip 3: Choose the smaller size pair if you’re on the fence. Jeans stretch so if you buy the larger size they may end up looking baggy and you frumpy.
Tip 4: If a certain cut fits well, stick with it! This will save you a lot of time and energy.
