Moisturize and Protect- Beauty Tips For Your Skin

Colorado is a wonderful state to live in with its mild seasonal weather, beautiful parks and tons of outdoor recreation. However, living in a state that is very dry, it’s vital to keep your skin moisturized. Over the summer my sister and I visited a wonderful salon downtown Denver called Salon Foushee.  The service was absolutely amazing and the best part our spa day was the pedicure…talk about being pampered! It’s called the Cloud 9 Pedicure.  It’s not your usual pedicure, the foot and leg massage you receive during the pedicure makes you feel like you are literally floating on a cloud.

I also found a product at the salon that I completely fell in love with and that’s the Santitas Lemon Cream Facial Scrub.  My skin is naturally dry so it doesn’t help when there is no humidity in the air.  This scrub is very mild and gently exfoliates leaving the face soft and refreshed.

There are also two other beauty products I use daily prior to applying my makeup; MAC Complete Comfort Cream and Prep+Prime Base Lumiere.  MAC Complete Comfort Cream is very light, cooling and does wonders in keeping my face hydrated all day. Applying MAC Prep+Prime – Natural Radiance Base Lumiere after using the complete comfort cream and prior to your foundation will keep you looking flawless all day.

Of course using a good make up brush will ensure that your applications are evenly distributed. MAC Brush #100 is ideal for easy application of creams and foundations. I love its  versatility and  use it to apply my cream, base and liquid foundation.
