Today was the last day of Denver Restaurant Week. It’s a ten day event where hundreds of restaurants charge $30 for a three-course meal. It’s a great opportunity to try a new restaurant
We dined at Tamayo which is one of Richard Sandoval’s restaurants downtown that focuses on modern Mexican cuisine. We started out with margaritas and spicy crab guacamole. Everyone enjoyed their meal whether they had pork, salmon or filet. My pork tenderloin was moist with a nice tamarind seasoning and the pickled vegetables were an added texture.
