Looking for a new lunchtime escape from work? Try Nosh and Posh at Civic Center Park. Local food and fashion trucks gather in the park the second Thursday of the month providing an opportunity to enjoy some unique eats and shop boutique items.

Upscale food trucks have been around for a long time. Nosh and Posh had a diverse collection on Thursday from barbeque to Latin-Asian fusion to quinoa focused. There was something for everyone. I enjoyed chicken tacos from Still Smokin that had a fantastic jalapeno sauce. I’ve also sampled some create food from Chuey Fu’s and Quiero Arepas. It’s a great way to do lunch on a sunny afternoon downtown.

Fashion trucks have taken a page from the food truck scene and retrofitted trucks. Instead of a mobile kitchen they’ve duplicate the inside of stylish boutiques. The graphics on the trucks are so cute and the teams working them are always inviting. You can’t help but go inside to check them out. Many have wooden floors, clothing racks, accessory shelves and fitting rooms. There’s more than enough room to browse the unique clothing. Most of the owners I spoke with said it was the lower overhead that appealed to them whether they were just starting out or already have a storefront. Evey K Fashionliner, Fashions Underground and Style Driven were at Nosh and Posh on Thursday but there are over 20 trucks operating in the Denver area.

If you can’t wait until next month to get your next fix, check social media or the business website to locate where your favorite food or fashion truck will be next.
