Once again 303 Magazine presented Denver Fashion Weekend (DFW) which is a five-day fashion and hair showcase focused on local and national designers and boutiques.
DFW kicked off with the 303 Awards and Southwest Hairstyling Awards to recognize regional hair stylists and local artists, restaurants, boutiques, and musicians. Day two and three featured fashions from local designers and boutiques. Calling ALL models! I really love the idea of having a night of “non-traditional” aka voluptuous, petite, androgynous, ageless and inked models strutting their stuff down the runway. Day four and five showed off the latest in hair trends and styling techniques.
Danni and I checked out day three featuring the hottest trends from local and national designers. Here are some of the highlights including our first video (Video music = 05 Back Again).
Mark Lloyds Fur opened the show with a variety of fur coats, paired with leggings. Black and white dominated their looks of the night.
Lions in Four colored the runway with tangerine, grey and olive. I love the spaghetti strap jumpsuits and rompers. This designer had me ready for spring!
Kouture sported resort wear with halter tops, shorts and fringe dresses.
Velvet Wolf rocked the house and closed out the first segment with animal prints and metallic. Can you really rock and roll without leather? Of course not!
Soignee opened the second segment with beautiful gowns and dresses.
Royal hit the runway with quilted tops and pants, and shirt dresses.
ILY ILEY showed off the latest floral trend with their mini dresses, hot pink Palazzo pants and mid shirts.
Femme Fatale brought sexy back with 2-piece swimwear, beach hair and hoops to glam up their look.
Georgine NYC shined brightly as they closed out the show with metallic gold and plum pieces on display.
